Where can I find people to test an ****** story on?

I’ve been asked to submit an ****** story to a book anthology, and I’d like to have someone have a read through it before I send it to the publisher. Where can I find people to read it?

Create a blog and post it on there?

find an old man , tie a small bell to his pe**s, ask him to read your story and wait to hear the bell gong. if it doesn’t, your story isn’t any good.

Print a representative short section of the story on Craigslist.com in the Rants & Raves section (pick any large city) and see what kind of reviews you get. Don’t be surprised at the varied responses.

I agree sort of with the first answer.

Somewhere were LOTS of people can read it. Where you’d get different opinions. They may not all be nice… but take your chances.

Let the world read your story.

Hollie, the only place I know that can give you legitimate feedback on ******* is the Share Your Work board devoted to ******* at Absolute Write’s Water Cooler. Posting requires that you join, and the board also requires a password given out by the moderator only to adults.

Yeah, it’s a lot of fuss, but other ******* writers are in the best position to help you make your story the best it can possibly be for the anthology’s intended market.
